🔐 Overview

This privacy policy applies to the application Hold: Kegel Timer for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
The short version: your workouts and test results stay on your device. The iPhone and iPad app sends anonymous usage statistics (for example, that a workout set was recorded) so we can understand how the app is used and improve it. It never sends your results, and there are no accounts and no advertising.

📱 What Stays on Your Device

Your workouts, test results, repetitions, hold times and settings are stored locally on the device where you created them, and nowhere else. This information is never transmitted, uploaded, backed up to us, or shared.

We have no servers of our own and no way to see, reach or recover your training history. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.

📊 Usage Analytics

On iPhone and iPad, the app uses AppMetrica, an analytics service provided by Yandex, to collect anonymous usage statistics. The Mac app does not use analytics.

The following data is collected:

• App interactions: the fact that an action happened, such as opening the app, recording a set of an exercise, saving a test result, opening the history or calendar, closing the subscription screen, or responding to a request to rate the app. Only the fact of the action is sent, never its result.
• Purchases: the fact that a monthly or annual subscription was purchased.
• Device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version, language, and approximate country or region derived from the IP address.
• Identifiers: an app installation identifier and the device vendor identifier, used only to count unique users and sessions.
• Diagnostics: crash and performance data.

The following data is not collected:

• Your workout results, test results, repetitions or hold times
• Personal information such as name, email address or account details
• Health data
• Precise location
• The advertising identifier (IDFA)
• Contacts, photos, calendars or any other content on your device

This data is used only to understand how the app is used and to improve it. It is not used for advertising, is not linked to your identity, and is not used to track you across other apps or websites.

💳 Subscriptions

Hold PRO subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple and are never visible to the app or to us. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.

🌐 Network Connection

Workouts and tests work fully offline, including in airplane mode. The app connects to the internet only to send the anonymous usage statistics described above, and to Apple's services when you purchase or restore a subscription or choose to rate the app. There is no account, no backend of our own and no cloud sync.

🔓 Permissions

The app requests no permissions and shows no permission prompts. It does not ask for notifications, location, contacts, camera, microphone, HealthKit or App Tracking Transparency, because it does not use any of them.

📤 Data Sharing

Anonymous usage statistics are shared only with Yandex as the provider of the AppMetrica analytics service. No data is sold, and no data is shared with advertisers or any other third parties.

🚫 How to Opt Out

If you do not want usage statistics to be sent, you can use the app with the internet connection turned off for it, or delete the app. Your training data never leaves your device in either case.

👶 Children

The app is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No account is required and no personal information is requested at any point.

🩺 Not a Medical Service

Hold: Kegel Timer is a general fitness and wellness timer. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition, and it records no health data.

📅 Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if the app changes. Any update will be published at this address, with a new "Last Updated" date. Should the app begin to collect any additional data, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before that version is released.
