Frequently asked

How does a workout work?

A workout is four exercises done in order: Warm Up (squeeze 2 sec / relax 3 sec), Long (5 / 8), Medium (3 / 5) and Short (1 / 2). You start each exercise yourself, and a ring counts the phases while a haptic marks every change. When all four are finished, the workout is saved to History.

Why are there no rep targets?

Because the right number is different for everyone and changes week to week. You do as many repetitions as you can and tap Stop — what got recorded is what you actually did, which is the only number worth comparing later.

What happens if I close the app in the middle of a workout?

Nothing is lost. The exercises you already finished are saved, and reopening the app on the same day picks the workout up where you left it.

Can I do more than one workout a day?

The app keeps one workout per calendar day. Once it is finished the day is marked done. An unfinished workout is closed automatically at midnight, with the repetitions you managed to do kept.

Why does the total show seconds and not repetitions?

Repetitions are not comparable across exercises — thirty one-second squeezes and thirty five-second squeezes are very different workouts. Total squeeze time in seconds puts every exercise on the same scale, so the comparison with your previous workout means something.

Does the screen switch off while I train?

No. The screen is kept awake for as long as an exercise is running, including the long sets, and goes back to normal behaviour as soon as it stops.

Do my workouts sync between devices or to iCloud?

Not in this version. Everything is stored on the device where you trained. Syncing is planned for a future release.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes, always. The app never makes a network request — there is nothing to connect to.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. All workout history is stored inside the app itself, so removing it removes everything. Nothing is kept on a server, because nothing was ever sent to one.

How often should I train, and for how long?

That depends on you, and it is not something an app should decide. Recommendations vary a lot between people and situations — a doctor or a pelvic floor physiotherapist can tell you what fits yours.
